Background

Marcus Sibley started out his career at the young age of 13 helping his father fit flooring on a Saturday. During this time Marcus learnt the trade and upon leaving school at the age of 16 got his first job as a fitter working for Tufted Interiors of Dereham.

After a while it was clear that Marcus was in high demand and decided to it was time he became self-employed.

Over the next 30 years Marcus built up a large customer base and became not only a fitter but a supplier of flooring too with a large customer base covering Norfolk. In this time he was also joined by his son Tate.

In 2020 Marcus Sibley Carpets became a limited company. This enabled the business to become more established. In late 2022 came the opportunity to buy out the business Tufted interiors, where Marcus took his first job all those years ago.

Since taking over the business the shop based in Dereham has undergone a major refurbishment with all new stand being installed from major flooring companies such as Penthouse carpets, Kellrs, Abingdon and many more.

In this short period of time, we are proud to have become an Authorized Supplier and installer of Amtico flooring.

At Tufted interiors, we have built up a team of highly experienced fitters who cover all areas of expertise in floor preparation and fitting.
